What is Catalog Import Fix? An independent WooCommerce CSV checker and file-preparation service. The free checker examines CSV text on your device; the guides and downloadable examples help you plan and test a product import. Manual file preparation is a separate service agreed by email.
What the free checker actually does
You can select a CSV, paste CSV text, or try the built-in example. The report identifies common file problems such as duplicate SKUs, malformed rows, variation parent relationships, attribute inconsistencies, and numeric price formatting. It shows the relevant rows so you can compare a finding with your source data.
The checker operates in your browser. It does not upload or save the catalog file, connect to your WooCommerce store, fetch remote images, change product records, or execute an import. A report without errors means only that its covered rules found no errors. Your importer version, mapping, existing products, plugins, and server access still matter.
Limited whitespace cleanup is available when the report proposes it. This does not choose new identifiers, selling prices, category names, or missing product values for you. Review the proposed cleanup and prove a small test import before using a file on a live store. See the privacy details and open the checker.
How to assess our guides and examples
Catalog Import Fix maintains the guides. They explain a specific task using worked rows, comparison tables, and a small test plan. Technical references link to the relevant official WooCommerce schema, importer documentation, or other original documentation so you can check the rule for your installed version.
CSV downloads contain deliberate example values. Their headers and saved CSV structure have been reviewed, and the examples are run through this site's checker. Each guide explains the expected warnings and what remains to be tested in a store. A file-level check is not a claimed WooCommerce store import or a customer case study.
Simple-product, category, and variable-parent starters use a draft product or parent for their test workflow. The price-and-stock update example instead omits product status because adding a draft setting would change an existing product. Its placeholder SKUs must be replaced with exact existing staging-store identifiers. Always read the matching guide before using a download.
Review dates identify content changes and documentation review. They do not imply that every plugin or store configuration has been tested. If you find a mismatch, email [email protected] with the page address, the relevant WooCommerce version, and a redacted example or exact message.
How manual catalog help works
Manual work begins with your problem and an agreed scope. File preparation can cover mapping and reviewing one supplier sheet or CSV. A preparation-plus-test request additionally requires agreed staging access and a small store-side test. The published packages describe their row limits and exclusions; larger or unusual files need a separate quote.
The request composer prepares an editable email draft locally. You send it yourself. Preparing a draft does not submit a request, attach a file, place an order, or take payment. Provider details, fit, delivery timing, file transfer, and payment arrangements must be agreed before work begins.
Start with a redacted sample and the exact import result. Do not send passwords or customer records in an initial inquiry. Keep an untouched source file and a store backup, and use staging for tests. See our service terms for the scope of the free tool and manual work.
An independent resource
Catalog Import Fix is not affiliated with WooCommerce, WordPress, Cloudflare, or a supplier. Product names describe the formats and workflows covered by the guides. We do not promise rankings, revenue, automatic repair, or an import result for an untested store.
