Site and service notes

A file check is a first review. Paid catalog work starts with an agreed scope.

The free checker

The checker helps identify common issues in product CSV files. It reviews the selected file in your browser; it does not log in to your store, run an import, inspect your database, or check whether a remote image is accessible to your server.

A clear result is not a guarantee that WooCommerce will accept every row or that every product will display correctly. A warning asks for review; it may be valid in your workflow. For example, a parent not found in the CSV may already exist in your store. Review the actual importer report and the documentation for your WooCommerce version.

You remain responsible for deciding what data belongs in your catalog. Keep an original copy and a store backup. Use staging and a small test before importing a larger batch. The checker does not approve supplier prices, invent product identifiers, or establish ownership of images and descriptions.

The guides

Guides offer practical troubleshooting steps for ordinary product files. WooCommerce versions, extensions, server settings, and custom fields can change the workflow. Follow the official documentation and test the procedure against your own setup. Catalog Import Fix is an independent project and is not affiliated with WooCommerce.

Paid help is quoted before work begins

Catalog Import Fix offers independent manual catalog assistance. The local request composer prepares an editable message; it does not send an inquiry or book work. You send the request through your own email application after reviewing it. There is no automatic checkout or charge. Preparing or sending an inquiry, checking a file, or viewing a starting price does not place an order.

Before paid work begins, the quote must identify the service provider and contact details, the agreed file and number of data rows, including parent and variation rows, the tasks included, the price and currency, the delivery target, and any required store access. Both parties must approve that scope. Changes outside it require a further agreement.

Any displayed package is an initial scope example. Spreadsheet cleanup and a test import are different tasks. Custom extensions, server repairs, bulk image sourcing, product copywriting, ongoing synchronization, and full store management are included only if the quote expressly says so.

Review the deliverables

For a cleaned CSV, agree on the source of truth for identifiers, attributes, prices, and stock. Review the delivered file against the approved sample. For store work, agree on a backup, the test environment, access permissions, and the checks that will demonstrate completion. Never send passwords through an inquiry email.

Payment is arranged separately by invoice after an agreed quote. Payment arrangements, revision limits, cancellation, and any refund terms must be stated before payment. The website does not create an unstated refund policy or a subscription.

Results and commercial decisions

The checker, guides, and service do not promise search rankings, customer traffic, sales, revenue, or a specific import outcome. A successful file import also does not establish that the product information is commercially correct. The agreed review and test define what the work will verify.

Use the paid-help section to discuss an actual file and obtain a concrete scope before committing to paid work.
